A good tip, it’s so easy to gap a spark plug with a channel lock plier. Easy leverage control, fast and simple, you can open and close the gap easily. I gap my spark plugs visually, no need to measure. Read more »

Flat steel bar can easily be bent into shape providing you have a decent vice and heavy hammer. For thicker bar you may need to heat the bar up, or you can cut a slot in the bar to enable bending it, this can then be welded after bending. Read more »
