The boot clamp does not require a BMW tool. It just needs a standard CV boot click pair or pliers. You can get them at most part stores. Ask for CV boot clamp pliers. This is a very inexpensive tool to build, and on radiators with a conventional cap and surge reservoir, it makes filling the cooling system a lot less messy. I’ve never seen anybody use this method unless they learned it from me. Read more »
