This portable easy to store tool can be converted into a convenient workstation. The fiber splice case support tool allows the technician to service the splice tray fiber at any location whether you are up in a bucket, down in a manhole or from your work truck.
The fiber splice tool features adjustable jaws and large diameter gripping pads to provide a secure and stable platform on a wide variety of surfaces. The 18 inch clamp can be positioned towards the center of the work surface allowing easy access to the fiber tray and fusion splicing equipment. Simply remove the splice tray from the housing and clamp securely in the vice. The adjustment knob allows you to easily position your device. Loosen the adjustment knob to remove the vice and replace it with any of the Westek adapter fixtures and accessories. Insert the Westek adapter tube and mount the patent-pending Westek adjustable bracket to service your splice tray. The Westek adapter tube is also designed to accept other industry standard OSC brackets as well.
