Here is a quick video of a fixture plate I made to mill 4 1911 grips. The holes for the grips will be tapped .236″ 60tpi to accept grip bushings. The 3/8″ hole in the upper left will be the origin for the fixture. The plate is 6061 aluminum with dimensions of 6″X10″
