The shocking moment police save the life of a bikies chief strapped to a chair and beaten with a cricket bat, pick axe and shovel by fellow gang members ‘after he slept with one of their wives’.
Police footage has captured the shocking moment officers storm a factory and save the life of a bikie boss being mercilessly assaulted by gang members.

Rebels boss Rick Reynolds was attacked by men with cricket bats, pliers, a pickaxe, shovels and a gas burner after they accused him of sleeping with another members wife.

The incident occurred on January 23rd, 2013 after Reynolds was assaulted on a street in Prospect before being taken into a factory, tied up and beaten, the Daily Telegraph reported.

Footage caught by a police car’s camera shows dozens of armed officers and canine units break the fence to a factory on Stoddard Road in Prospect where it appears Reynolds (real name has been suppressed) is shirtless and bloodied seated in a chair.

The Rebels sergeant-at-arms claims he was heading to work that evening before he was attacked leaving his vehicle.

Reynolds was rumoured to be leaving the gang for a rival, and some even suspected him of being a police informant after escaping jail sentences multiple times.

The real motivation though is believed to be his relationship with another member’s partner.

‘Bloke got out of the car and goes, ‘You f…ing dog c…, you f…ed my missus’,’ Reynolds was heard saying to a visitor in a room at Westmead Hospital that was being recorded by police.

He said the assault was supposed to happen the previous night, but he arrived at the Rebels HQ with his daughter and it was postponed. Reynolds also claims some of the men involved in the attack didn’t know why they were there.

Reynolds was tied with cable wires to a chair before the men repeatedly attacked him with weapons.

Had two witnesses not been driving by at the moment of the initial attack the bikie would likely be dead. Police say officers effectively ‘saved his life’ by responding so quickly.

Eight of the nine attackers will be sentenced Friday and will be sentenced to a minimum two years in prison.

Another man will go on trial next year.
