This is my method to doing a t-splice (splicing a new wire into an existing wire) without solder. All you need are the wires you want to splice and some quality electrical tape or optimally, some heat shrink tubing. Yes, you can solder for good measure but this method It works great and is strong. I claim to be no expert electrician, your mileage may vary as well as opinions. Hope this helps someone.
