Statement necklace DIY

Big necklaces are still in, but can be pretty pricey. Here’s my tutorial, I hope you’ll enjoy =)
You will need
- around 80 pearls (depends on the length of the middle part, just keep in mind that you’ll have 5 pearls on each jump ring. The more jump rings you have, the more volume and length will be added to your necklace).

-same amount of ballpins

-15-20 jump rings (you can have more or less, it all depends on whatever volume you want your necklace to be).

-thick wire (it should be able to hold the weight of all your pearls. It also should stay in place once you’ve bended it in a slightly curved shape)

-ribbon (measure your neck and where you want the center piece to be, than subtract the length of the center piece. You’ll need twice of the remaining amount, because you’ll fold the ribbon. Don’t forget to add some extra inches for looks. If you don’t want to use a clasp, just add some more inches to the ribbon and use it to tie your necklace in the back)

-toggle clasp

-jewelry glue and some kind of glue, that dries clear

-round nose pliers

-flat nose pliers

-metal shears or a wire cutting tool

-tweezers

-scissors
