Quick tutorial on the SKS front sight adjustment. This is a Russian SKS. I think I got a Chinese front sight tool, which I would have imagined would have just worked anyways, but it was too square and wouldn’t fit against the front sight hood. Upon attempt to adjust the front sight, it just slipped off. So I filed a corner of it off so it snugs right up against the front sight hood, and will adjust the front sight for windage with no problems.
This tool also included the post adjuster for elevation on the back of the handle. Kind of like a small nipple wrench for a precussion cap muzzle loader.
