I’m a fan of simple solutions, and this guide for drilling holes square or perpendicular is one of my favourites. It’s a very quick jig to build and is one of the only jigs which finds a use in my workshop most weeks. I use this jig when drilling dog holes in to a workbench top, but it’s basic design could easily be adapted for drilling smaller holes in your joinery. Great for woodworking, and could probably find other uses elsewhere.
