List of materials:
Cheap sketching paper and graphite pencils (could add a coloured pencil to outline your armature sketch)
Aluminium or iron wire (preferably a medium or thicker sized wire)
Aluminium/tin foil
cutting and bending pliers
Hot glue gun and sticks
