Replacing Brick Moulding around an Exterior Door with Resetting Door Jamb

The job was to replace brick moulding around our exterior door. I discovered that the door jamb was not attached to the door frame. The door jamb was loose. The only thing keeping the door from falling out was the old moulding. I removed the old moulding. Then I reinstalled the door with Nelson wood shims and finish nails . Then I installed new PVC brick moulding around the door. Lastly I applied caulk to the moulding to keep out water.

Total cost of the job was under $42. Here is the list of materials needed:
- Brick Moulding $31.80
- Finish Nails $4.00
- Caulk $2.00
- Nelson wood shims $2.09
- Spray foam (optional: to use around the door frame for insulation and also for stability) $8.00

Tools Needed:
- Miter Saw (hand or powered)
- Drill and Drill Bits
- Claw Hammer
- Locking pliers for removing staples/nails
- Hand saw (only if installing shims)
