Replacing a euro cylinder is simple when you have the key as you can undo the door and remove the retaining screw to remove the cylinder. If you do not have the key (even if the door is unlocked) you cannot replace the euro cylinder because the cam needs turning slightly before you can remove and refit the new cylinder.
