Remove a Stripped ALLEN “HEX KEY” oil Drain Plug–Mazda

This is the easy removal of a stripped OIL DRAIN PLUG on a MAZDA CX-5. The drain plug requires an 8mm ALLEN HEX Key to remove. Do not use an allen Key. Use the proper socket with an 8mm hex.

The inside hex of the drain plug is stripped and rounded out so that the 8mm tool, skips over the hex and doesn’t remove the bolt.

This is part 1. I am going to show you an easy way to remove it.
In part 2, I am going to replace the drain plug with a FUMOTO drain valve so that this problem does not happen again.
