Note, if your Prius is less than 9 years old your local Toyota dealer will fix your intermittent speedometer problem / trouble turning car off for free. Call their service department and insist they look up this “warranty enhancement” program for the “Combination Meter” which is what Toyota calls the speedometer/odometer cluster.
