Here’s a quick video demonstrating how to open the combination lock on ergo luggage when you’ve forgotten your code.
1. Cut a small piece of thin paper or plastic to a 90 degree angle.
2. Slide the paper between the case and the first combination wheel looking for a grove that the corner will drop into.
3. If not found rotate the wheel and keep probing until you find the grove. .
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all the notches have lined up.
5. Keep incrementing all wheels by 1 digit until the case unlocks. Usually +3 or 4 digits.
Once you have the right combination you can unlock the case and access the combination reset switch. Check the manual for instructions on resetting the combination.
