The North Carolina Justice Center hosted a “Crucial Conversation” on North Carolina’s House Bill 2, which overrides a City of Charlotte, NC ordinance that offered new protections for LGBT rights. Speakers include Charlotte Mayor Jennifer Roberts, Plaintiff Joaquin Carcano – who’s suing the State of NC over HB 2, Chris Brook of the ACLU of NC and Tim Gaudette of “Small Business Majority.”
