This is a “Hack” in the truest sense of the word! I could not get rid of the emergency call button on lock screen. My lock screen is locked through my work email privileges (for security reasons) , and there is no root for the LG Stylo 2 yet. So after 10-15 accidental police calls and apologies, it was time for drastic measures.
Again it’s ugly but works. Shoe Goo is a strong adhesive and pulls off easily when the time comes to get rid of it with pliers, no residue remaining. I only used it on my case, but you could even use on phone with minimal to no damage (i accept no responsibility for damaged phones!)
Everything holds together fine in the pocket, and there is no way for the button to get pressed, which is the only way to bring up the lock screen, and then potentially buttdial the police. The plastic is just cut up from some RC scraps i had around.
