I am forever getting back pain when bending and fixing my bike. It was always a struggle balancing the bike whilst carrying out repairs. Looking on the net I found many bike repair stands, most were quite expensive. This repair stand literally cost less than $10.00 to make. It works very well. On the video I state that the clamp didn’t damage the frame. Actually there clamp did crimp the paint slightly. I remedied this by using a piece of split plastic plumbing pipe which the clamp could grip over the frame. The stand worked very well for stripping down the frame and then later painting the frame. Cheap and cheerful…no bad back!
