Made in USA Channel-Lock Pliers Better than Vice-grips.
A lot people do not know that the old Channel-Lock pliers will usually work better that Vice-grips to grip on to and remove rounded off bolts. this because of the unique design of ChannelLock pliers will actually will grip the bolt tighter with the more force that you apply. Also Channel-Lock pliers (with the blue handle) are still Made in the USA, whereas Irwin moved the manufacturing of Vice-grip pliers from the USA to China. It’s a win-win situation when using Channel-Lock pliers since they can work better than Vice-grips, there is no problem in unlocking Channel-Lock pliers and Channel-Lock pliers are still Made here in the USA , while Vice-grips, which used to Made in the USA are now Made in China.
