I got my Tec-9 about a week ago and had immediate problems… It was not ejecting at all and would jam every shot… So I took it home, inspected and fixed the problem. Many people would suggest taking a file to the extractor and giving it a groove, but I observed the extractor wasn’t even touching the casing! So I got out a pair of pliers & a vise grip. The extractor simply needed to be reshaped. The bend was keeping it away from the casing, so I straightened it & then bent a new angle to get it to meet the casing. It is an easy trial and error process. Bend it, install it (don’t tighten all the way) in the bolt, slip in a round to see if it’ll grab, then start over. Once the extractor would hold an empty casing to the bolt face, without being to absolutely constricting, I reassembled my Tec-9 completely, loaded a clip & emptied it by repeatedly charging the bolt… easy as that ;]
Ask any questions you have. I may also make a tutorial on fixing the common Tec-9 issues if anyone is interested.
Negative Comments Are NOT Welcome… If you don’t like these guns, you SHOULD’NT be watching this in the first place!!!!!!!
