Correction note to video: I added to the description that the shark bite® fittings with the tan release collars are for Copper, CPVC OR PEX. And the grey release collars are for polybutylene tubing.
A conversion fitting has a grey release collar and a tan release collar. While making the video I installed two conversion unions, which have been replaced. Note: The wiring you see has the covering, sheathing, on the black, white and ground, the wires are not damaged, this was from prior sweating of the plumbing back in 1985.
