How to Start and Finish Your Jewelry Strung on Thread Using Bead Tips – Jewelry-making Technique

In this video I will show you how to start and finish your jewelry strung on thread or some other type of string using bead tips.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

» Materials List «

• A beading needle
• Two bottom clamp on bead tips
• A clasp
• Two size 11 seed beads
• A pair of pliers
• Clear nail polish

» Instructions «

• Thread your needle. String on a seed bead and slide it toward the
end of the string. Knot the seed bead in place.
• String on a bead tip and slide it toward the seed bead.
• Once you are done with stringing your design, string on a seed bead and a bead tip. Tie a knot around the seed bead, but before you tighten the knot, slide your beading needle through the loop. Now tighten the knot and slide the knotted seed bead close to the bead tip.
• Tighten your beaded design by pulling the beads down towards the first bead tip. If needed, pull the knotted seed bead close to the bead tip again. Also, you can tie a few more knots around the seed bead to secure it better.
• Seal the seed bead knots with clear nail polish; let dry. Trim excess string.
• To finish your jewelry, close the bead tips with your pliers and attach your clasp.
