Watch this video on how to change the front brake pads on a 1996 Honda Civic. This brake job is going to be very similar to other Honda’s from around that year. 1992-1997 are really close, if not more years. The basics are the same for almost all vehicles. There are only 2 bolts that hold the brake caliper on, and then metal clips to hold the pads on.
This is a very easy repair and you can save lots of money if you do it yourself! Many mechanics like to charge around 100-200 dollars for brake jobs and this only took 30 minutes to complete both sides. I hope this video helps you out if you decide to do it yourself.
