How To Remove The Chime/Buzzer From Ford Trucks (2000s Era)

**Do this at your own risk**

This video will show you step by step how to remove the annoying buzzer that sounds when you have your seat belt off, door open, keys in ignition, etc on your 1st gen Ford Escape (2001-2007). I have also removed the buzzer from a 2002 Ford F-250 in this same way, and I believe Ford probably put the buzzer in the same location for all it’s trucks at least, if not it’s cars as well. In this example, I used a 2002 Ford Escape.

The buzzer is located on the back of the circuit board inside your instrument cluster. You will need a 7mm socket, a small screwdriver (helps for flathead prying), a set of pliers, and I believe the size was T10 for the torx bit.
