In this video I show you how to add a brass inlay but you can keep it simple if you want and just leave it wood. I made a Tri-Force from the Legend of Zelda because it is fairly easy. There are two ways to add the brass. Solid sheets or brass powder. The solid brass I used is .016” thick. (see link below) You can go thicker even up to .026” or more, but I would not go much thinner thank .016″. The brass powder way is not as shiny but I encourage you to try both ways for the experience. You can add other designs or shapes, even small stones can be attached. I hope you get a chance to make a wood ring because it really is fun.
