Making a clamp to hold pieces of leather that are being sewn together – for example to make tool covers and knife sheaths.
In this film I make a leatherworkers stitching pony – also known as a Clamp or Clam. This is a very useful device for holding pieces of leather together when stitching them. I want to make some tool covers out of leather to protect my bowl turning hooks, so I will be using the Stitching Clamp when sewing the leather covers.
