In this video I’ll show you how to install a water flow regulator between your shower head and shower water supply line. You’ll need a pair of channel lock pliers or vice grips, thread seal tape and a water flow regulator or water shut-off valve. In this case I’m installing a regulator with a shut-off valve, so I can control the exact amount of water coming out of the shower head. This solution is for the problem of high water pressure or simply the desire to reduce water waste and lower your water and/or hot water electric bill. This is an easy plumbing job, and anybody can do it on their own.
