A Pro X piston kit was chosen for this project.

Piston ring indexing tip: The piston is divided vertically and horizontally through the center of the piston parallel to piston pin hole. Viewing the piston with the EX on the left and IN on the right, the lower half of the vertical line is the exact center for the oil ring expander. All measurements can now be made. The top compression ring, second compression ring, and oil ring expander are separated by 120 degrees. The oil ring rails are 0.790″ out from the center of the oil ring expander.
