The staggered fused clapton is one of the hardest coils I ever learned to make. Staggering the clapton wire can be difficult, but the real challenge comes in trying to fuse the staggered cores together. It’s a patient five-steps-forward-two-steps-back sort of process. But there are some tricks (and tools) I’ve picked up here and there along the way that help make the process much, much easier to accomplish.
This 11/10 wrap dual coil build consists mainly of 26g ni80, staggered and fused with 36g ni80, and it is parallel wrapped for a staged heating effect with 24g ni80. It ohms out at about .17 ohms. I vape it at about 5 volts – 150 watts.
