In this video, John shows you how to bleed your master brake cylinder using common tools like an 8mm wrench and a ¼-inch hose (hose and wrench sizes will vary by model). Through the master cylinder bleeding process, you’ll learn how to detect whether you have a problem with your ATV master cylinder, how to access and remove the master cylinder, and how inspect the master cylinder seals and bore to see if they need to be replaced. You’ll also learn how to replace the seal on the master cylinder piston and how to use retaining ring pliers to rebuild the master cylinder.

This specific video shows you how to bleed and rebuild the master cylinder on a 2007 Honda TRX400EX ATV, but the directions are the same for any Honda TRX ATV model.
