Can you customize them to make them work again? What is the best set you can buy for the money?
I have gone through several pliers. The best circlip tool on the market are the Harbor Freight 3-1 interchangeable head, part number 60531, inside outside system. The heads are made of carbon steel and the purchase price $3.99, lifetime warranty. They are not the same pliers found online and the material and build is higher quality. The looks are the same but they do not feel or function the same. #8 or #10 nut can be purchased at Walmart for $0.99 if you decide to modify them as I did.
