I bought a new setup since I sold my digital indicator and mounting base with the craftsman lathe back in July, I prefer using the dual indicator and watching the dial instead of a radically fluctuating numbers, Don’t get me wrong the digital indicator makes things easier with numbers but when those batteries go dead in winter then you are stuck without and indicator.
The mounting base is much better, this time, around, Sometimes its just a hit & miss experience with Harbor Freight so make sure you hold on to that receipt or get the Humpty Dumpty warranty whenever possible.
