Conventional shut-off valves on household toilets, sinks, etc. tend to freeze up after a long time unless you periodically turn them on and off to keep them loose. When they do get stuck it’s hard to grab onto the handle safely and securely with most tools – adjustable wrenches, monkey wrenches, locking pliers, strap wrenches, channellocks, etc. This clever wrench was designed for just this purpose.
