This tool is used for GM vehicles. GM incorporated a quick connect for many of the heater hoses, and due to the exposure to antifreeze, the threads like to disintegrate and break off. In this video, you see the tool used on the intake of a 1990 Chevrolet C2500. It flawlessly removed the threads, and allowed for easy replacement. I then replaced the fitting with a standard pipe thread, a new all rubber hose, and I was back on the road. I highly recommend this tool, and it is extremely easy to use.
