Front Disc Brakes and How to Replace Them – EricTheCarGuy

Well here you are after many requests for this one it’s finally here. I shot this last spring but I’ve been saving it for you as a special present. In this episode we go over the principals of operation and replacement of a basic front disc brake set up. It all starts with a shaking steering wheel and ends with new brakes. I think this is a pretty good video overall and gives the important information you would need to perform this task yourself. A couple of notes. I didn’t have time to go over how to isolate a brake pulsation between front or rear in this video. Also, I had a very easy time of getting these rotors off, I can assure you that this is not often the case, I could probably do a video just on removing difficult rotors alone. I may do a video on that in the future as I collect some different scenarios for you.
