As you all know, I am an up and coming blacksmith. Finally, you will all be able to see my forge in action as I make myself a pair of actual blacksmithing tongs.
See, before I made these, I was using vice grip pliers, which do NOT work well for forging knives. But, as the old blacksmith saying goes: “Need a tool, make a tool.” So I did.
This is only part of the process, the actual heating and bending of metal. I will be finishing the tongs in a future video, do not worry. Those of you who saw the salvaging video may recognize this rebar, and those of you who didn’t ought to go watch it.
Now, I will leave you with a joke.
Why did the blacksmith go into Victoria’s Secret?
