Here I remove the Blu-ray diode from the GGW-H20L sled, the so-called “6x”. Here I show removal from the sled, removal of ribbon cable and removal from the small heatsink.

- Fine-tipped curved tweezers
- Flux pen
- Small scissors
- #0 or #00 sized phillips head (cross) screwdriver
- Small flathead screwdriver
- Soldering iron
- Solder
- Small locking pliers
- Micro-flush wire cutters
- Metal pointed probe
