This week we install the Stainless Steel Brakes dual bowl master cylinder and lose the single bowl “fruit jar” master that has been in the engine bay for a long time. This conversion will give us an added safety margin if the braking system develops a problem. We also go over both traditional brake bleeding procedures as well as using a Mytivac to get faster bleeding of the brakes. We cover proper break in procedures for the pads and rotors.
