With my tips and tricks, hopefully I can help make this process easier for you. I provide you with actual detail on what to do when removing a bent or smashed lens UV filter from your camera lens, and I do not give you superficial instructions on how to complete it. Most videos I found online were basic and assumed that you could figure out the details on your own, and although I eventually figured this all out, I slightly damaged the lens in the process. So take what I’ve learned and use this method properly to ensure that your lens isn’t harmed and you do not make the same mistakes that I did.
You’ll need: Vice Grip Pliers, Watch Screwdriver, and a cloth or some painters tape
