DIY Mitre Saw Clamp

0:05 Parts including a mild steel piece of box tubing.
0:24 Marking 2 cm in from the ends of the box tubing.

1:02 I drilled one side 6mm which will attach onto the mitre saw fence.
1:04 Using a larger drill bit to de-bur the exit hole.

1:33 Because the box tubing is 2mm thick around I don’t worry about turning counter clockwise as I tap the metal. The spacing around will allow for the metal to fall out but for thicker metal, you should do a half turn backward for every full rotation.
