Every fisherman needs a great set of pliers and these are prefect. The aluminum construction will beat that deadly rust and corrosion problem from forming, which is a huge plus. The cutters are great and I was surprised at the ease in which they cut 50# Power Pro, which we all know can be a real pain to work with. I haven’t tried them on wire yet, but have no reason to believe they won’t work just as well there too. And I like the split ring tip to the pliers, which brings great functionality to a small quality product.
Functionality:
+ Removes hooks perfectly
+ Wont slip once you press down on the pliers
+ Cuts Braid like butter
+ Extremely convenient belt holder and quality retractable, makes the pliers very accessible
+ The back pocket can also hold a Rapala Scissor (although it was not intended to)
- No way to use it to cut bait, would of been nice so that you wont need to use a knife or scissors
? Not sure if it will work with gutted fish (Fish that swallowed a hook)
