The DeWalt DW872 Metal Cutting Saw cuts steel, aluminum, and a variety of other materials. Unlike an abrasive chop-saw, the cuts are relatively cool helping you to move on to the next machining step and avoid hardening of the material. While just as loud as an abrasive saw, the DW872 produces essentially no sparks when cutting steel.

This saw is one of my most used and favorite tools in the work shop.
