Here at Legacy, we developed a clamp that applies clamping force from the side. But instead of lifting the part like other side clamps, this vise clamp moves along a downward pitch; applying a side load with slight downward pressure.
The LowPro clamps are machined out of aluminum and comes with an aluminum LowPro stop.
We designed some versatility into the LowPro stop. On either end we machined biting edges. One for low profile material and one for high profile material.
If you do not wish to leave a bite mark in your part, rotate the stop 90 deg. to use the flat edge instead.
