This tool is intended for the removal of CLIC spring clips, as these cannot be opened with any standard tool. The pliers are fitted to the clip, then compressed and the clip is opened. If you want to fit the clip instead, simply turn the tool 180 degrees. This is made possible by the design, which enables both the fitting and removal of clips.
