Rectilinear (non fisheye) lenses are preferred for a more cinematic look. The gopro hero 3 black plus can be easily swapped to a rectilinear lens.
My method of changing lens on the gopro without damage the original components.
Optional: Oven reduces torque to open by 2x.
Optional: C shaped lens clamp will preserve your original lens. Alternatively you can wrap tape or a rubber band on the lens but this is not as good.
