To service an obscure Japanese vintage fountain pen, I’ve been experimenting with the idea of casting a single-use C ring. Hopefully, this idea will eventually allow safe removal of the threaded barrel boss, and replacement of the leaky shut-off valve shaft seal. I’ll keep you posted of any progress!
