A quick rough draft of an experiment with the new Mutable Instruments RINGS module.
Using a Mysteron as an input and a Piston Honda as an external signal processor for the EVEN output of Rings, the ODD output was direct and the Piston Honda mixed. Also the Mysteron is mixed through a Strymon Blue Sky.
Rings STRUM timing from a 4MS QCD. 1V/oct from a Turing Machine to both Rings and the Piston Honda.
The Piston Honda provided the overdriven distortion elements. Rings EVEN output run through the External Input of the Piston Honda. Pressure Points for Brightness, Pitch to the Mysteron and Frequency to Rings along with a noise source through an LFO driven VCA to add a breathy woodwind aspect to the timbre.
Other modulators included E355 Morphing LFO, Turing Machines, Maths, Echophon and Quadra + Expander.
