This is by far the best helping hand I’ve ever used for soldering!
Pretty cheap to make as a DIY project and you’ll use it forever!
THE WIRE I USED is: 5mm armature wire
I used that little helping hand thing for quite a lot now and it was a pain every time.
It’s probably good enough when you have to hold a little circuit board or something like that, but for what I use it is just NOT GOOD ANOUGH!
So my friend Chad Kapper gave me the idea to use that thick alluminum wire (I think it’s called Alluminum Armature wire) and I really have to thank him because it’s really great. Really stiff and it works just great!!!
Can’t be any more happy with it, considering that I spent almost nothing to make it…
Can’t wait to solder stuff with it but then I thought I can use thore alluminum arms for other things, so I made some more…
I really can’t tell you how useful they are…
I hope you enjoy!
