The Kreg Automaxx bench clamp has been on the market for some time but has recently attracted attention for its versatility. So I bought one and started playing around with it. I drew it and tried it in various roles and was very pleasantly surprised with its quality and convenience. The only clamp on the market to rival its clamping speed was the holdfast. The holdfast and Automaxx clamps are the same price, but they differ when it comes to flexibility in favour of the the Automaxx. In my opinion, this clamp is a “must-have” for DIYers.
