The method shown here is quick and easy, buts it leaves a 1/4 in. washer on the cable. If this bothers you, check out my other video that shows an easy not so quick method.
Stuff you will need…
- 1 scrap 2×4 board about a foot long
- 2 scrap 2x4s 4 inches to foot long (They are used to raise the foot long board off the table.)
- 1 scrap 1×4, 3 to 5 inches long
- 1/2 in. drill bit
- 1/8 in. drill bit
- One 1/4 in. washer
- compression type coaxial connectors (bought mine off of amazon)
- coaxial cable (I used old cable that Dish left behind when we canceled our service years ago)
- drill
- side cutters, heavy duty scissors, or a sharp knife
- ruler
